 Boost Return Removal Question

Sorry, right off if this is in the wrong spot.

I don't understand what is done with the opening on the throttle body once the line is removed is it caped or vented or re-routed? I think I understand all the rest of the bits involved but, can't seem to sus out this one bit.

The bottom of the throttle body is simply left vented Ryan cool.gif

There is a butterfly in there which is linked to the main throttle butterfly, the one in the bottom is open for most of the time so excess boost can vent and it tends to make a slight woosh noise on part throttle.

When you go full throttle (WOT) the bottom butterfly is closed, and as you let off throttle it opens again and lets out a whoosh similar to a dump valve.

So, follow up. How likely is this mod to allow particulents into the intake and motor? I understand it exhausts the excess boost but is there ever any vacuum?
