Ihave a 92 G60 and when I purchased it, the guy i got it from had it sit for about a year and among other problems. There seems to be a few issues with the rear suspension(both the camber and toe are off) and as I'm not familiar with this type of setup. I haven't the foggiest as to were to start. Iknow I should know more but every refrence I try seems to leave out alot or not even touch on the rear suspension of the car at all. I understand this is a forum and not a free mechanics class but I any help/basic run down of function/anything would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx in advance, Ryan -------------------- "I often fear that the sins of my past will come back to haunt me, and that the consequences are more then I can bare."-Tech N9ne.

Hi Ryan, welcome.
The Corrado dosn't have adjustable rear toe or camber, though you can fit 'shims' behind the stub axle. Most do this when fitting wide wheels to make them sit in/under the wheel arch/fender at the top. It would be unusal for it to be out on both sides or id suggest a bent stub axle on one side. The rear beam bushes can tend to be worn a lot of the time, and they have an inbuilt amount of movement for what Vw called rear wheel steer. Id pop the rear discs off and see if someone has fitted shims then go from there. I can get a screen grab of the set up if it would help. Neil. -------------------- |
